In 2026, for the second time we will award the Neiße Fish: Youth Jury Award. And this time in two categories! The award goes to one feature film and one short film from the festival program that have specifical appeal to young people. Young people from Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic will act as a youth jury to select the winners at the festival.

The Neiße Fish for the Youth Jury Award are each endowed with 1,000 euros and are sponsored by the German-Polish Youth Office and by Tandem – the Coordination Center for German-Czech Youth Exchange..
